Judge Found Guilty of Violating Ethics Rules

Municipal Court Judge Les Hayes has been found guilty of violating judicial ethics rules. In November the Judicial Inquiry Commission filed a complaint against him, triggering his automatic suspension. He is suspended without pay until October 2017 and has been fined $4,312.82. According to the court’s ruling, Hayes moved to resolve the complaint’s charges 10 days ago through an agreement he filed. Seven charges were filed against him in the complaint: 1.
