ACA International Issues Latest White Paper on Business Practices and Capabilities

ACA International, the association of credit and collection professionals, has released a new white paper, “Business Practices and Capabilities within the Debt Collection Industry,” which examines the potential impact of additional Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulatory measures on member organizations and the debt collection industry. “The Small Business Administration Office of Advocacy defines a small business as either ‘an independent business having fewer than 500 employees,’ or one that generates annual receipts that do not exceed the SBA size standard; for debt collection companies, the size standard is $15 million in average annual receipts,” writes ACA International Director of Research Josh Adams, Ph.D in the white paper.
