violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and TCPA. This is the highest
number of cases that have ever been filed in one month. Year to date case
totals are at 2542, trending to surpass 10,000 cases for the year. For all U.S. District Court filings in March, the five
states with the highest filings were California (121), New York (116),
Pennsylvania(116), Minnesota (67)and Florida (66). These five states
