| Is
your Collection Software Really
Customizable? |
You
hear it all the time… “Our collection
software is the right fit for any agency”. The
ideology that all agencies are the same is why
so many Collection
agencies have bloated IT and Database
teams and need more administrators than
Washington D.C. These people are needed because
the software doesn’t meet their customization
needs.
The
real truth is that no two collection agencies
function in the same manner because no two
agencies have the same CEO, nor do they have the
same vision. Each agency has a
different focus, a different niche, and a
different way of approaching collections for
each client. Some agencies focus on credit
cards, some focus on payday, some focus on check
recovery and some focus on the more complicated
personal notes. Each of these asset
classes require a system to function in a
very different way. If you cannot get what
you want from your collection system and are
hiring support staff to compensate for the
system’s deficiencies, you need to look at ICEware.
Think
about the past couple of days while you were
working on your current system, have you thought
to yourself “you know what would be nice”
and then you realize one of two things; the
first is, that it can’t be done with your
current system and if it could it would costs
thousands. This makes you a prisoner of
your software.
Here
are three simple reasons your current software
isn’t as easy to customize as you were told:
Data Importing, Client and Agency Reporting and
Training and Support.
Data
Importing: As long as your import data
matches the exact system fields in your
collection system you are fine. Spreadsheets
and client documents will never match your
system, which means that every time you get new
accounts, someone will need to
concatenate rows or insert needed columns.
This is time consuming at best. The second is, Reporting.
How many times have you closed a new client or
had a current client request for some type of ad
hoc reporting? You got on the phone with
your software company and requested them to make
a change to the software. When you heard
the high price you put it on the back burner,
and because of that
you possibly didn’t close the new client and
may have frustrated the current one. The
final issue is that of Training and Access to
Support. The collection industry is known
for incredibly high churn and collection
managers should spend time training new hires on
FDCPA not on their how to use their collection
software. ICEware will take care of all
of your training as you need it; you no longer
need an on staff trainer to train your
collectors on how to use your collection system.
Enter ICEware Global Services.
ICEware designer software allows you to
design the system the way you want it.
Tell us how the system should function, explain
how the interface should look and tell us every
single report you want to create and we will
make it happen. With the IGS, agencies can
reduce IT and Administrative costs by as much as
75%. This is done through process driven dynamic
automation which means no more administrators
spending hours to prepare a report for your
client, no more collectors spending time
creating actuarials, and last but not least, no
need to have an IT or Database person uploading,
cleaning and placing files in your system.
When using the ICEware system this is
completed with one click. For more information
